I’m starving. But i’m beginning to think that I may NOT die. Like this diet may NOT kill me.

Take away’s:

  1. Switching to flavored coffee has saved me! Since I can’t have creamer, this is the next best thing. Keep in mind that you CAN add unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk. I am just protesting spending anymore money on this thing. Seriously- it’s so ridiculously expensive to eat THIS healthy.
  2. I’m hungry a lot. But once I eat I am not hungry anymore. {LOL} But i’m hungry again 1 hour later. I had to text my sponsor (my sister) about how hungry I am and she said that my body is literally like in shock because i’m used to having carbs. I miss my Beltivia breakfast bars [the cinnamon ones…yummmm] and my oat and honey bars that I would typically eat in the afternoon lathered in peanut butter. <Tears>
  3. I’m questioning how much weight I will gain when I finally DO have normal food again? My body is going to go into shock when I finally eat my typical carb intake and then–what if it stores it and that turns into fat? I mean I couldn’t blame my body. It will be like “oh no- i’m hanging on to this in case you pull that crap again!”
  4. I had a dream about cordial cherries last night. Not a lie. Not an exaggeration. I literally had a dream where I got up and ate a whole row of my cordial cherries that are in the back of the fridge. And then I felt bad about it. When I woke up this morning I went and checked. It was just a dream.
  5. There should be meetings for this mess. Like if I were trying to come off meth I could attend a meeting. Or someone would wait on me hand and foot and tell me “you got this” and “i’m so proud of you”. And then they would wipe the sweat off of my forehead and help me get comfy while turning the tv to my favorite show.

Like I tell my clients… let’s focus on the positive. SO I will do this now.

  1. I feel confident that at the end of this journey I will have some insight
  2. I may learn to enjoy black coffee
  3. I will feel accomplished and should feel good about my hard work
  4. I am more likely to apply for Survivor since I have learned to eat food out of the ground.

I’m heading out of town today! Time to go see my BFF and pick out a bridesmaid dress for her wedding. I am so so pumped!! I have already packed food for my day and I am super excited because the hotel we stay at is an Embassy Suites and they have THE best breakfast!! I intend to eat like royalty the next 2 mornings!! Food is packed, snacks are packed, and i’m nervous about messing up while i’m gone… MUST-STAY-FOCUSED!

Here was my day:

Breakfast: 2 fried eggs and sausage 

Lunch: tuna made with paleo mayo

Dinner: Avacado and chicken 

Snacks: carrots, apple, almonds, almond butter
