Let me start by saying this post is my political opinion. I have so many friends (and a husband) who view politics differently than me. And I love and respect each of them– and their opinions. (Hi babe!! Hey Kristie!!)
I’m so confused by “the worlds” fascination with providing Donald Trump had an affair and that he is a racist. He IS racist and he probably has had multiple affairs. So– if “we” prove it– then what??
What is the end game with proving these types of “allegations?” I don’t care if we sleeps with half the world. I don’t need any other “alternative fact” to prove that {in my opinion} he IS racist.
Let’s put more focus on what WE as a nation want to happen and less on proving he paid off a Lady to keep quiet. Who cares? That takes me to Bill Clinton (❤️❤️❤️❤️). He admitted it. Okay it took some coaxing but he admitted it. Then what???
Why do we try so hard as a nation, in our friendships, in our marriages, to get that “I told you so” moment? When did proving someone wrong become more important than the bigger picture??
I don’t like Donald Trump. I don’t like what’s happening in our world. I want to throw a tantrum and cry out “IT WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE THIS WAY!” 😭😭 But that solves nothing. Proving Donald Trump is a racist won’t do anything. Didn’t we already know that?
I don’t know people. I don’t like what’s going on in our world one bit. It’s sad. We’ve lost sight of the big picture and we are wrapped up in being right and have lost our direction.
Thoughts?
Thanks for reading,

When you first said who cares Donald Trump is a racist I was worried to read on, I have read so many trump supporters I thought you were going to defend the guy. I’m human, recently moved to the USA from Canada (Canada politics may suck but it still feels so different. I feel like an alien here *hides*) having to keep my mouth shut or at least watch my words when people go on and on how he is good for the states and the criticism he gets is out of line and such. So I made the assumption, sorry!
I am glad I kept reading and although when anyone is a racist bigot I dont think it should be ignored, but proving something most of us already know(Believe me I have met people who will say trump is not a racist, and you sure as hell I wanna point and laugh at those people. Like what?! As they sit their and defend it. I am like the fact you just said all that proves even more how racist he is and apparently so are you. *cringe*) I don’t think Trump should be in office. Not because his policies are all bad, I think Trump is a great business man and he is somewhat what some Americans want. He will create jobs that is the only good thing that may come from his term. But even in that is flaws, such as his insane tax ideas and so on. It is not that I am even against his irrational policies. My issue I have with Trump is the dude is so irrational. He is literally too emotional to be in office. The things he said to North Korea on twitter scared me. Like dude are you asking to be blown up? The way he responds to criticism and throws tantrums not only make him look like a child, but a very irrational human being. Like a time bomb waiting to go off. I honestly fear for the nation and it’s people with him in office. That is his words will ever have consequences. He is so egotistical too, he acts like he came into office at a time when USA was the most powerful nation and no one can screw with us. The fact is the USA has seen it’s best, it has not only fallen, but is in very critical and sensitive times. All awhile a lot of countries already have reasons to be against the USA. He doesnt seem to stop and think about these things. I literally think the dude is insane. He has something wrong with him and it scares me. Not that it is his fault, maybe he does struggle with something and doesn’t even know it. Maybe he should have been evaluated mentally before taking office. Just the way he acts. It is more than just his twitter stunts too.
What I liked about your post is we know Trump is unfit for office for many reasons, but Americans I think actively need to rise up and do something about it. Enough with proving he is a bad guy or whatever. Like take actions the right way and find solutions together with Trump. I doubt anyone is getting him out of office (although this may be the closest in a long time, if ever a president was taken out of office) it could still happen and not because of the people. The white house is now more broken I think than they will admit. It showed very obvious signs when he was running for president. Republicans in office came out and said things like Hilary Clinton would be easier to deal with, why the heck is this guy running for president? Why is such insanity going on? This guy doesnt support republicans and so on. His son has came out and spoke against Trump. Now all of a sudden those people either shyed away or now out of the blue support him??? Something is going on. But if nothing happens and he remains his full term, Americans need to proactively in the right way make it through his presidency and pray he doesn’t win again. I hope to see more voters next election. Did you know USA for a democratic country has some of the lowest voting rates in all of the world? Well last election every person who didnt vote, was a vote for Trump. But it is not all the people’s fault, it is on purpose. USA makes it so hard for the population to vote, there are so many restrictions, how it is done and so on. Can you imagine a single mom having to take the bus to work, errands, then let;s add in bad weather trying to vote on election day? Well I will say they don’t make it that difficult in other countries. It’s sad and kinda scary.
Obama said the USA’s biggest problem right now is not so much the presidency, but how the population is so divided in their beliefs. I agreed. You may be surprised to hear I didn’t support Obama, although he is a intelligent, smart and charasmatic man, I don;t feel he fought hard enough for his own visions while in office. I think he rolled over and many mistakes were made. When Obama came out and said ‘black lives matter’ my first thought was then why did you drone the shit out of Africa? Why did you let the office and other people destroy your vision of Obamacare to the point it left office it failed? Well mainly because the dude didn’t have a choice. My honest opinion is Trump is not who we have to fear, it is those controlling the world’s wealth, the corporations and so on. Kennedy couldn’t even escape it, and there are many others who have been political figures or in office and tried to change things against the few, and got killed or arrested. We as humans have a lot to be afraid of right now. It is not just USA politics. Certain leaders are controlling everything and us. I just haven;t found out who those exact people are yet. Something has to break. We have to revolutionize tbh but then we will probably be killed off.
*hides in my bunker after writing this comment* yes I am crazy but I question EVERYTHING.

I’m glad you continued reading! You stating what Obama said is exactly my point. We are so divided yet— what’s the plan?? The government might shut down, more women may come out and admit to affairs yet what are we gonna do about it?? Let’s take action and find solutions!! That was my whole point. Don’t care for the guy. Definitely didn’t vote for him. But now what? We are where we are and we MUST start trying to solve it!!! Thanks for your comment 🙂

So here’s what I love about this post, it’s honestly not political. It speaks to the heart of the problem in our nation….the people. We as people have a heart problem. The desire to be right and then means others must be wrong. We have, in many cases, lost the ability to respect others and recognize that sometimes we simply can’t fix what is wrong and only serve to create more problems by continually pointing out how wrong some things are. That being said, I’m all for listening to the issues and working to being about change; identify a problem and then identify some possible solutions. And, I love that some of us love and respect each other no matter our political views. 😊
